A very cold February evening and a long exposure captured this image of Bowermans Nose on Dartmoor in the darkness of night. Look carefully and you see the stars forming the Plough or Big Dipper which is part of the constellation of Ursa Major.

Little Spash – Crown of Water: A crown formed by water droplets dripping into a tray of water containing a coloured background. The action was frozen by working in a totally dark room and firing a flash gun at about 1/20,000 of a second. A difficult set up to achieve but something to occupy a winters evening.
